Because this is a one-time digital purchase delivered instantly, refunds are handled under Polar’s policy.
Who you are buying from
Polar is the merchant of record for ScreenCursor. In practice that means Polar handles the payment, the receipt, sales tax and VAT, and the refund process. Your purchase agreement for the transaction is with them, and their terms apply to it.
How to ask for one
Contact Polar using the details on your receipt, or write to us at support@screencursor.com and we will help you get to the right place. Please include the email address you bought with. It is what your order is found by.
Your statutory rights
If you are buying as a consumer in the UK or EU, you have rights over digital purchases that no website policy can take away. Nothing on this page limits them.
Before you buy
The honest way to avoid needing a refund is to know what you are getting. ScreenCursor is a Chrome extension that records your screen and places zooms automatically. It does not record webcam, it exports MP4 at up to 1080p, and how smoothly it records depends on your computer having hardware video encoding. Almost all machines from the last decade do.
If you are unsure whether it will suit you, write to us first and ask. We would rather answer a question than take money from someone it will not work for.
License keys
Your purchase includes a license key, delivered by email. If a refund is issued, the key stops working.
